Alloy 200/201 NICKEL® 200/201 – W. Nr. 2.4060, 2.4066 / UNS N02200 / ASTM B160, B162, B366

Alloy 200/201 NICKEL® 200/201

Alloy 200/201 NICKEL® 200/201 is a pure nickel-based alloy (99.6%) with excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments, particularly against alkaline substances and reducing agents. This material is characterised by high electrical and thermal conductivity, low hardness, excellent ductility and malleability.

The magnetic properties, low vapour pressure and low gas content make NICKEL® 200/201 ideal for applications where high product purity is required. This material is used in the production of chemical equipment, electronic components and parts for the food industry.

Reference standards:

  • ASTM B160 (bars and wires)
  • ASTM B162 (sheets and strips)
  • ASTM B366 (fittings and flanges)
  • ASME SB160, SB162, SB366
