1.4460 / AISI 329 steel is a duplex stainless steel with austenitic-ferritic structure, alloyed with chromium, nickel and molybdenum, designed to offer:
• High mechanical strength.
• Good corrosion resistance in aggressive chemical environments.
• Excellent stability under high chemical and mechanical stress.
This material is also marketed under the names 10RE51 and SS44®, and is particularly suitable for high-stress applications.
