HASTELLOY® C 22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy offering exceptional resistance to corrosion in both oxidizing and non-oxidizing environments. Thanks to its high chromium content, it provides superior protection against pitting corrosion, crevice attack, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking compared to other alloys in the same family, such as C-276.
This alloy is widely used in aggressive environments including chemical, petrochemical, and nuclear processes, as well as in high-temperature industrial applications. Thanks to its excellent weldability and machinability, it is available in a wide range of formats, including plates, bars, tubes, wires, and flanges.
