HASTELLOY® X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to oxidation and high-temperature corrosion, combined with outstanding mechanical properties. Thanks to its high ductility and weldability, it is widely used in applications requiring resistance to stress-cracking and thermal fatigue, such as gas turbines, aerospace applications, and industrial furnaces.
This alloy is ideal for environments with oxidizing, reducing, and neutral atmospheres, offering superior performance compared to other heat-resistant alloys. It is particularly suitable for aircraft engine components, combustion chambers, heat exchangers, and structures for the chemical industry.
