1.4313 – F6NM – UNS S41500 is a soft martensitic chromium-nickel steel, resistant to corrosion and acids with added molybdenum.

High toughness properties provide 1.4313 with excellent capabilities and growing popularity. Valves, compressors, and centrifuges are typically made from this stainless steel.

1.4313 steel – also known as F6NM – is primarily used in the oil industry and for power plant components and reactor technology.

1.4313 stainless steel exhibits excellent mechanical properties. The addition of molybdenum provides moderate corrosion resistance, which can be improved by polishing the surface.
